14,000 Children a month are giving their lives to Christ in Vietnam

In the communist country of Vietnam, as in any communist country, children are very protected from any influence that would may ‘cause them to rebel against the communist regime’ as they get older. They consider Christianity a threat to their unquestionable rule.  So, ‘unauthorized’ religious gatherings are punishable according to their laws.  Despite the risk, here’s what the Church in Vietnam is doing – and they’re having phenomenal results!  Praise the Lord!

In their plan to reach their nation for Christ, they put on children’s parties (similar to a birthday party).  They give out invitations to 30-50 children in their town or village to meet at a specific location and time.  At the party they:  play games, hand out party favors, and then they hand out a copy of the Most Important Story Ever Told (booklet).  The facilitators to the event (missionaries, pastors/ pastors wives, parents, or even older children) help walk the children through reading the booklet, explain and answer any questions they have.  Then they ask who would like to become a child of God.  Typically about 70% of the children make a decision to follow Christ!  

The results don’t just stop at the children either.  Thousands of siblings and adults have come to know Christ as well as they see their children’s lives transformed by the Gospel!  Many adults then have attended the next party to talk to the facilitators and give their lives to Christ as well!  Then the cycle continues.
