Anna...

My name is Anna (10). One day my brother David and I were playing in the nearby park. We played a very long time, and all that time there was a big man sitting on a bench near us in the park. He seemed very very sad to us.

My brother and I decided to try to cheer him up. We ran home and came right back with a book that made us very happy. This was of of the 2 copies we had. I presented my book to the man. Whe I did, n he looked up at me and smiled. Then, he began to flip through the book and read it. Then he started looking at the pictures of the book and suddenly said to us: “Can I take this book to my child, he needs it very much?” We said - “Sure!” By the smile on his face as he was walking away, it seemed that our mission was complete – the very sad man – was happy.

Koryun Mekhakyan.....

I am a teacher in one of Yerevan\'s schools. I have been working in schools for about 30 years. I have never seen such a sign of kindness towards our school. The distribution of those books in our school was simply a miracle. I think that “The Greatest Gift of All”** was really the best one for our pupils. This will sow seeds of kindness to them in their blossoming lives.

Ararat...
My name is Ararat, I'm 7 years old. Every night, when I sleep I saw nightmares and it scared me very much. But one day my aunt brought me a book about Jesus. In that book were pictures of Jesus and I read about Jesus and knew Him. Now I know that Jesus is the biggest and strongest in the world. Now Jesus is my friend and because of that I don't see nightmares any more.

"I know now that life doesn’t end here on earth..."

I like my Bible because it has good colored pictures, the English is not hard and all titles are well interpreted.

I have learned a lot of things like forgiving, am a child of God and he loves me very much, and I am special to Him. I know now that life doesn’t end here on earth but there is eternal life and Jesus is coming to take us soon where He is.

Kieu...
a children’s worker

Kieu—a children’s worker—is now 20 years of age. As many teenagers within the church in Vietnam, she wanted to serve the Lord at an early age. She became a believer in 1998 and was called by the Lord to work with children at age 14 in 2003. She was discipled and trained and began to invite children to Christians’ homes and have evangelistic parties for kids ages 6-7. Many kids became believers and as parents saw the change, they too became believers and even more homes were opened to the Gospel. At one place she had 100 kids attend.

At age 14, she and an older Christian man went to a village and met a mute girl. They were asked to pray for her and after the prayer, the Lord miraculously healed her and she could speak. Another 5 year old boy was ill and they prayed for him and he also was healed. His parents accepted the Lord.

Kieu would ride from village to village by bike to have children’s meetings. She wa...    Read More

From attacking to inviting......

Soon after we began the parties program in Asia, we heard about a woman who was a believer. She had a tamarind tree in her yard. Asian children love the sour, sweet flavor of these seeds and will go to any length to get them.

The neighborhood kids would sneak to her yard and throw sticks and stones at the pods to make them fall, would pick them up and run away to eat their sweet reward. Any time this believing woman would see them, she would come out scream at the “brats” and herself throw sticks at the kids to chase them away. All the kids were afraid of her.

One day she was at church and heard how so many kids had put their faith in Christ by being invited to believer’s homes and would have the gospel shared with them and go home with a MIS booklet. As she sat in her seat, she was convicted and knew she had to change her ways.

She asked the pastor for some booklets and they had a few left. The next tim...    Read More
